Artel was engaged to provide an access solution to transport a piece of artwork worth £6 million into a newly refurbished apartment overlooking the River Thames.
A bespoke design was produced comprising of a heavy-duty cantilevered platform screwjacked to the balcony ceiling with kentledge securing the rear of the scaffold. The size of tube utilized was restricted to 2.4m due to access only being available via the lift. The utmost care was taken to ensure the successful installation of the painting.
